First Beach Trip!

We headed to Seaside Beach last Saturday for Liam's first beach trip! It was sooo nice there, the weather was perfect. The wind was warm and it wasn't as crowded as we thought it wouls be. Liam focused on the ocean only a few times but his eye got really big.
Matt took him closer to the water. We didn't want to put him in the dirty sand just yet, maybe next time.
We walked along the Seaside main street with all the local shops. Liam was in an umbrella stroller most of the time, he seemed to like watching all the other people walking around.

It was so beautiful outside we decided to drive back through Astoria. We had a mini baby photo shoot at one stop.

Liam & mommy. I think he looks alot like Matt right now. So cute.

Still no crawling but lots of tummy time.

What a happy little kid. This in one of the cute shops at Seaside. I think he knows when to smile when a camera is pointed at him.

Happy St.Paddys DAY!

Happy St. Patricks DAY!!!

For the past week Liam has had is first cold ;(

He only had a little fever on the first day but has been coughing and sneezing non stop. Poor baby, I feel so bad for him because I can't explain to him what is happening. He likes to cuddle alot more because he doesn't feel good. Sleeping is tough because he wakes up coughing or his nose is stuffed.

Now I am sick with his cold. I had a feeling it would happen sooner or later, but it really sucks. I researched the google machine and asked friends and family with experience in soothing a babies cold. So this is what I came up with. A cool mist humidifier, baby tylenol, Vapor bath soap, and Vicks BabyRub. Oh and of course a binkie. But sometimes he can't breath through his nose so he spits out the bink.

He has been teething nonstop too. I guess teething and colds come at the same time with young babies. He loves sucking on fingers.

We thought we should get Liam a little treat because he wasn't feeling good. So I found this stationary exersaucer with a Winnie The Pooh Theme used for $20! Pretty good deal. He loves this toy.

He can reach all the toys on it but he gets frustrated sometimes because he wants to put the toys in his mouth but his mouth can't reach.

Sometimes I have to put a blanket over it because he gets distracted seeing the toys when he should be eating or sleeping.

This toy is great because it distracts him from this awful cold he has. His nose still runs, eyes water and coughs but he still smiles when he plays.

Here is an outfit Aunt Katie and Uncle Justin sent him. So cute with ears!!! This outfit is 9months and it fits him pretty good. Katie and Justin also sent me boxes of 12month and up baby clothes that their son, Braidyn, grew out of. Which ROCKS! Liam actually is wearing a 12month long sleeve top today.

Liam talks ALOT! He has so many things to say. Although none of them are real words, they are getting close! We say "Oh, hi!" to him all day and sometimes randomly he will say "hi" without any other sounds before or after.
