The world around Liam is becoming more and more interesting. This picture was taken at grandpa and grandma's house. Liam can hold his head up great now, and he is continue to show off his baby strength on lifting himself on his belly.
We can almost always get a smile out of him now. The giggles and laugh are hard to come by, but the smiles still make me melt.
Although he looks nervous in this picture, Liam actually enjoys a good bath. He likes the water a little warmer then I would have thought, and he likes to keep a warm washcloth on his tummy. Sometimes I can't beleive how dirty he gets. I have to force his hands open to clean them and sometimes I find all sorts of stuff in there; lint, a strand of my hair, lottery ticket... ;)
Liam LOVES his bug mobile. This is a pitcure of him watching it. The mobile has come in handy when he is a little fussy and getting his diaper changed. I've noticed he will watch one of the bugs (dragonfly) for an entire loop. He also coos at them.
Sleeping is getting a tiny bit better. Although he still sleeps longer when I am craddling him versus shorter in crib/bassinet. He is also beggining to teeth a bit. I know, so young right? He cries while grabbing his mouth, and gets a little feverish, so I'm pretty sure its teething issue. Of course he is too young for medicine (like baby orajel) so we just let him suck on our arms and knuckles.
Grandma has the neatest things around her house. Liam stared at this golden retriever doggy for a long time. His head was moving closer and closer to it. He must love doggies like his grandma.
Half confused/half excited? Liam is begginning to have more and more different faces. Can you guess what he is looking at?? Yep, his bug mobile. When that thing breaks it will be the end of happy babby.
This picture is of him just after waking up. I wish I look this happy after sleeping....wait, on second thought I probably would these days. Liam is growing like a weed! I can't wait until he can start really playing with toys and understanding new concepts. But for now, I get to listen to his cooing and watching him smile.
We are back in Portland, matt is in the middle of getting a new job, and I am focused on loosing this baby weight! I did a water aerobics class last night that kicked my booty.
Hope all of your are doing well, and we hope to talk to all of you soon!
Ta Ta!
